The Queensland Clinical Trials Consortium was recently hosted on the Sunshine Coast, bringing together key stakeholders to share insights and developments in the clinical trials landscape. The event featured updates on government initiatives, industry trends, and an exploration of how artificial intelligence is being leveraged to humanise clinical trials.

Local clinical trial units from Sunshine Coast Health, UniSC, Ramsay Health, Sunshine Coast Health Institute (SCHI), Coastal Digestive Health Research Institute, and Sunrise Clinical Research were invited to showcase their current work and innovations in the field.

Attendees were welcomed by SCHI, Sunshine Coast Health, and Ramsay Health for guided tours of the clinical trial units, laboratories, and simulation suites at the Birtinya site. SCHI Research Manager explained, ‘These tours provided a valuable opportunity for knowledge sharing, fostering collaboration and discussions with other health services and organisations to improve clinical trials research across Queensland.’ Thanks for dropping by!
