Parking and public transport

Parking

Sunshine Coast University Hospital car parks

We have about 3,500 paid car parking spaces on the SCUH campus, including two multi-level car parks, short term parking, drop off zones, and ground level parking.

You can find parking costs on the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service website. There's no discounted parking for students or staff in the SCUH parking areas.

If you're using car park 1, make sure you enter through the public lane to be charged for the amount of time you stay. If you enter through the staff lane, you'll be automatically charged for a full day.

Oceanside secure parking

You can enter the oceanside secure parking from Bright Place. You can prebook to get casual daily or monthly permits. Find parking costs and book online on the secure parking website.

On street parking

There's two hour metred street parking on:

  • Birtinya Boulevard
  • Eccles Boulevard
  • Bright Place
  • Shine Court.

Parking charges apply from 8 am to 5 pm, 7 days a week.

Buses

There's a bus stop outside our building on Eccles Boulevard, close to the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital entry.

Food, shops and other facilities

Our onsite facilities include:

  • end of trip facilities, like showers and lockers
  • bike storage
  • a parents room
  • quiet and prayer rooms
  • student work and meeting areas
  • Roll’d café.
